It so happened that I had some financial house-keeping to do today (finding a better car insurance deal; and moving some money around).
Through my working day, I generally have TweetDeck open in the background. For one reason and another, I tweeted about each of three financial brands that I dealt with today. None of the tweets was a complaint: one was a query, the other two were positive comments.
It was only later, when I noticed replies from all three brands, that I thought I’d compare their response times. All were pretty good, I thought:
- @moneysupermkt responded in approx. 1 hr. 10 mins.
- @insideLV (Liverpool Victoria) in approx. 2 hrs. 15 mins.
- @savingfeelsgood (ING Direct) in approx. 3 hrs. 30 mins)
(The timings are only approximate as Twitter’s historical timeline groups tweets to the nearest hour.)
Moneysupermarket should probably have a special mention as, not only did it respond the quickest, it did so despite my misspelling of its name (MOneySuperMarket).
In case you’re wondering whether I spend hours doing this kind of brand monitoring, I don’t. But maybe I should get out more…
