From the 20th February 2014, managing your brand’s Facebook Page will become just that little easier — if you have multiple admins.
Page posts and comments will show the name of admins who posted. Note: the names will only be visible to people managing the page; they remain invisible to fans.
It’s a development that will pass many by. But, if you’ve been part of a team where colleagues have different community management roles—but all are admins—sometimes it can be frustrating not knowing who posted an update; or answered a customer question.
In making this slight development, Facebook is really just catching up with many commonly-used social media management tools that already allow for fairly sophisticated team-working.
